We are a venturer company in Nova Scotia, Canada. Venturers is a part of Scouts Canada for teens from the ages of 14-17. It's kind of like Scouts except more advanced and more independent of adults.
In other words, it is pretty much the wickedest thing ever. We go on so many exciting trips and go to so many different places. I for one have done pretty much all my traveling thanks to the scout and venture movement. I bet that many people sure as heck can’t say that they have done the four day, long range wilderness hike in Gros Morne National Park, Newfoundland.
Venturers is a place where teenagers can be teenagers and not get looked at funny, but also at the same time be able to help the community in a way that many cannot. This program gives us insight on the road ahead of us and opens our hearts and minds to the life where we can be helpful and knowledgeable.

Ok, so to sum up what Nicole so finely put, Venturers is pretty much fantoobulastic, and 2nd Truro Venturers is pretty much the gnarlyest thing since caned peas. This site was made because... well I really don't know why I made it, but its pretty handy! Its got pictures, a calendar, contact info, stories, and many other assorted goodies. This site was made by Mike Stewart muchas gracias to Nicole Hirtle for her assistance, and to the Cabbit...an inspiration to us all.
